YOUR ACTION NEEDED TO OPPOSE ANTI-GUN SUPREME COURT NOMINEE!
March 23, 2016

Dear Colorado NRA Member:

The National Rifle Association strongly opposes President Barack Obama’s nomination of Merrick Garland for the U.S. Supreme Court.  Please read Chris Cox’s recent op-ed detailing NRA’s opposition to Merrick Garland.

Anti-gun groups want to see the Heller and McDonald decisions overturned and the Second Amendment erased from the Constitution.  If confirmed to the Supreme Court, Judge Garland would help make that happen.  Obama has already nominated two Supreme Court justices who oppose our Second Amendment freedoms. Garland’s record shows that he does not support our right to keep and bear arms.  His confirmation would change the balance of power on the Court for generations.

Please contact your U.S. Senators, Michael Bennet and Cory Gardner and urge them to oppose Obama’s attempt to put a third anti-gun justice on the Supreme Court.  Their offices can be reached at the numbers below, and you can also tweet them @SenBennetCO and @SenCoryGardner.

Mark Your Calendars!! Rifle Tube Shuts Down for Maintenance April 10th!

More details here, in the newsletter, and in Potshots as we get closer to the date, but be forewarned the Rifle Tube will be closed Sunday evening, April 10, for clean-up and maintenance that is scheduled to last a few weeks, at minimum.

The Tube hasn’t been cleaned completely in nearly 14 years, and range technology has changed in that time. The old railroad ties used as a backstop will be replaced with shredded rubber, similar to that used in newer ranges around town.

Members are being sought for a variety of work-related activities. This is a good way to get a refund on $60 of the fees you paid to join or renew. More details later….stay tuned!
