Open Volunteer Positions Are Now Filled

Long meeting last night, but the Board got a lot done.
Welcome and thanks to the members who stepped forward to work on the following positions:
Membership Coordinators – Loralee and Cory Fryer;
Door Access Coordinator – Robert Oberle.
Also thanks to long-time volunteer, Bill Spinuzzi, who used to do BOTH of those jobs. I did Membership one year and couldn’t get rid of it fast enough!
Membership renewals are being stuffed in envelopes this morning and will be mailed out later this month. Nominations are still open for new Board Members for 2018. Let me know if you would like to be considered.

October Newsletter is Out, plus Other News

Sharp Club members will note the range procedures and caliber map were sent out again this month. The CCGC Board has decided to declare the procedures and calibers part of a “living document” that can be changed as necessary. The version last month garnered a lot of interest and comments, resulting in the newest version  you find here.

The Board has asked me to re-activate the Club’s Facebook page. It wasn’t getting much use, so I stopped using it and sent people here to the Club’s web page, instead. We will now use Facebook as a way of announcing upcoming events and items of interest to members and other visitors, so be sure you use the CORRECT address:
https://www.facebook.com/CherryCreekGunClubInc

Any other pages you may have seen or looked at are imposters.

Finally, as we begin to wrap up another year of business, the Board is still seeking volunteer assistance with a number of important positions in the Club. If you are interested, just let me know by responding to this e-mail and I’ll forward your name on to the Board. We are seeking 1) a Membership Coordinator; 2) a Door Access Coordinator; 3) a Bookkeeper; and 4) Members interested in a Board Member position for 2018. Each position is a rewarding way to give back to the Club that offers so much more than most other clubs in the area for so little investment.
