CCGC Pin Shooting is a non-league event each Tuesday evening that has been around since the late 1980's. Attendance varies from night to night, but averages 8-10 shooters in the Summer and 16-20 in the Winter. Pin Shooting is open to CCGC members and non-members alike, and shooters can join at any time.
Shooters may use rimfire or centerfire pistols, or both, to shoot at four banks of five pins set approximately 28-30 feet away. Three rounds are untimed, with the remaining four rounds timed by a shot clock. No hollow-point or soft-point ammunition is allowed.
The third Tuesday of each month is a man-to-man challenge, shooting at real bowling pins with .22 rimfire only. Prizes are awarded to all shooters.
The weekly cost to shooters who fire EITHER rimfire or centerfire is $3.00 for members and $4.00 for non-members. Members who shoot BOTH pay $5.00, or $6.00 for non-members.
