ONLINE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
Eligibility Requirements
Before proceeding with your application, please ensure you meet the following criteria:

Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 19 years of age at the time of applying.

Shooting Experience and Proficiency: While formal training is not required, applicants should have some prior shooting experience. You will be expected to demonstrate proficiency with a pistol and safe handling of firearms during the orientation session.

Online Component

The applicant reviews all the referenced CCGC documents:

Complete the online application (which includes agreeing to all requirements), and pay the Non-Refundable online application fee via credit card.

$100.00 individual

$50.00 spouse of an existing member

The information provided by the prospective member is used to run the required background check. This may take up to seven business days and information will be kept confidential.

The results of the background check reviewed by the membership staff.

The membership team will contact the applicants with the results of their background check, indicating either a ‘Pass’ or ‘Fail.’ Those who have successfully passed the background check can proceed to the next steps.

Once the applicant has passed the background check a member of the orientation team will contact you to schedule an appointment.
In-person Component (completed in any order)

The applicant will schedule a Club and Safety Orientation (4-5hrs) which consists of:

The applicant demonstrating familiarity with and safe handling of a handgun.

You must bring a handgun, ammunition, eye and ear protection with you when you attend the orientation.

Use of the Rifle Range/Tube will require a separate and subsequent orientation.

A briefing on all aspects of the Club rules and regulations.

Club operations (door entry, HVAC, lights, target carriers, target hanging, basic maintenance, how to prevent range damage)

The applicants will attend the next General Meeting (1hr), for consideration and final acceptance by the Club Membership. All applicants will be asked to give a brief statement to introduce themselves to the club. The Club members at the General Meeting will vote on acceptance of the applicant.
Please bring he following:-
Driver’s license or other government issued ID for proof of identity, proof of residency status for applicants that are not US citizens.

Payment amount for dues can be found in the table below for cash or check (payable to Cherry Creek Gun Club Inc.). Payment via credit card will require an additional 4% convenience fee.

Application Process Completion
The outside door access code and inside door electronic key card, will only be provided after completing both of the In-Person-Components of the Process. (In no particular order)
